The French River Park is uncharted waterways and hydro topographic maps are not currently available for purchase. Pristine waters remain as it was some 300 years ago when the French River was the main waterway for transportation. Topographic maps for the French River, Georgian Bay, Northern Ontario, Canada can be purchased from most tourist resort operators in the French River Resorts Association. June 1, 2009 - the final implementation date for requiring a passport to enter the United States from Canada by land or sea. Passports to enter Canada and return to US requires a passport. All land travelers must have a photo ID, original birth certificate or passport.
